New dogs start on lead. Off-lead walking is considered only after I’m confident in recall and group behaviour and the owner is happy with it.
Dogs travel in an adapted air-conditioned van with secure crates and anti-slip flooring.
A one-hour booking means a full hour of walking. Collection and drop-off time does not replace the booked walk.
Recall, simple manners and engagement are reinforced with treats, praise, play and positive reinforcement.
I personally provide every walk and visit, giving you and your dog a familiar face and consistent care.
I towel muddy dogs as far as practical and check their water before I leave.
I’m fully insured for dog transport and hold public liability cover through a specialist pet-care insurer.
Veterinary details and emergency permissions are recorded at booking. I will make reasonable attempts to contact you or your emergency contact and follow the agreed authorisation if urgent care is needed.
In extreme conditions, walks or visits may be adjusted for safety, including a shorter walk or suitable care at home. Individual arrangements are discussed with you.
Keys and access devices are stored securely and separately from your full address, as set out in the agreement. Access is used only for agreed care and home checks.
Medication requirements are discussed and recorded at booking. Any support must be specifically agreed with me in advance.
